Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Must my child be 100% potty trained?

A: Yes. We are not allowed to help them in the bathroom stall, but we do wait outside for them.

Q: Should we bring a snack plus a lunch?

A: Yes, a nut free and sugar free snack and lunch. We take two breaks to eat in the lunch room.

Q: Should my child bring something for show and tell time?

A: Yes. Even though our show and tell was originally added to show camper’s art work, crafts or lego creation, now campers are invited to bring their special toy/stuffed animal, etc from home.

Q: Will my child feel comfortable?

A: Yes, we make sure of this. We watch each child and ask them what they need. Our teachers love kids and know how kids socialize. They have years of experience at our camps.

Q: Will my child learn a valuable lesson?

A: Yes, and they will learn while having fun. They learn lessons in art (of course), but also how to share and communicate with others. We have group projects which teaches them to respect and share others views and ideas. We teach them to praise others and not put down another camper’s art. We clap when anything is achieved.

Q: Will Action Arts Camp increase my child’s self-confidence?

A: With many years of experience, Jacqui excels at fostering self-assurance in our campers. We recognize the uniqueness of every child; she anticipates their needs, which helps the children develop an immediate sense of trust.

Our campers return season after season, often sharing that our program enhances their self-esteem and makes them feel truly respected.
